Pastoral Candidate, Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the ELCA

"For it is by grace..."
God’s Peace to you!
My name is Kathleen Kerin and I live in Pennsylvania with my wife and five small dogs. My son attends college in New York, studying psychology and criminal justice.

I am a native of New Jersey and have traveled across the country as a young girl. During High School, through a friend’s invitation, I began attending and subsequently became a member of an ELCA Lutheran Church. I have remained a member of this treasured community for more than 40 years. Their nurturing and love is what ultimately helped me follow God’s call to serve in Ordained Ministry.
I am currently enjoying my work in service as the Director of Youth for a wonderful congregation here in Pennsylvania. I followed the call to serve the church after working in two careers: one as an Underwriter for the automobile insurance industry and one as an Educator. I received my Master of Divinity in 2015 from Drew Theological School and a Certificate in Theology in 2017 from United Lutheran Seminary.
I love to visit with friends and family, and I make it a point to connect with people as often as possible. Where I most see God at work and what truly feeds my spirit is in getting to know the lives, loves, and stories of others - meeting people where they are.
God’s richest blessings to you as we continue to seek new ways to be the church together; faithfully serving the call to be witnesses of the Good News!
